DRS has fielded more computing systems in extreme, rugged, military environments than any other company. ARMOR rugged mobile computers benefit directly from these lessons learned on the battlefield. Like the ability to withstand the dust of Afghanistan, or the intense heat of Iraq, or the moisture aboard ship, or the shock and vibration of a HMMVV on maneuvers.

C12 Rugged Convertible Notebook

The ARMOR C12 Rugged Convertible Notebook Computer features a rugged, die-cast magnesium case. The ARMOR C12 has been extensively tested for drop-shock, temperature extremes and resistance to vibration, and it provides IP 54 level protection from dust, dirt, water and other damaging elements. With its pivoting, 12.1 inch outdoor-viewable, touch-screen display, the ARMOR C12 easily transforms from a tablet to a notebook.

X10 Rugged Tablet PC

The ARMOR X10 Rugged Tablet PC features a specially designed aluminum DuraCase™ chassis with ShutOut™ sealing technology that meets IP 66 level protection from dust, dirt, and moisture. The ARMOR X10 offers no-flap input connections and tool-free, hot-swappable battery access. Available in both touch-screen and passive pen versions, the 10.4 inch LCD monitor uses backlight technology for enhanced indoor and outdoor viewability - even in direct sunlight.
